Ceva Animal Health strengthened its presence within the European pig production community at the European Pig Producers Congress, held in Poznań, Poland, on May 22–23, 2026. As Diamond Sponsor of the event, Ceva demonstrated its commitment to supporting farmers with innovative and practical swine health solutions.

The EPP Congress brought together more than 250 people, including farmers, Key Opinion Leaders and swine industry experts, to address the most pressing production challenges facing pig producers today. This edition had a special focus on Poland as the host country, reflecting the country’s significant role in European pig production.
How was Ceva present at EPP Poznań?
Ceva, reinforcing its commitment to farmers, led a pre-congress symposium focused on farm productivity. The session was opened by Rafal Szytowski, Ceva’s Vice-President for Central Europe, and chaired by Piotr Cybulsky.
The symposium included the collaboration of Professor Benedykt Peplinsky from Uniwersytet Przyrodniczy w Poznaniu, who shared a local update and global pork trends, and Olga Miró Artigas from SIP Consultors, who looked at benchmarking production costs. Ceva colleague Grzegorz Swierczynski closed the symposium before the start of the EPP Congress.

Ceva’s booth attracted strong interest from attendees, offering an opportunity to present three key solutions: the Ceva Lung Program (CLP), the P.I.G. Program, and the innovative combination of Trolley and EASI application system.

On Thursday, May 22nd, Ceva colleague Christoph Waehner delivered a 20-minute speech entitled “Lung Health Pays Off: Economic Value of the Ceva Lung Program for Farmers and Slaughterhouses.”
The presentation highlighted the tangible financial benefits of respiratory health management for both producers and the supply chain.
What practical training did Ceva provide?
The following day, May 23rd, Ceva colleague Krzysztof Janecko led a hands-on practical training on lung lesion assessment at the prestigious Poznań University of Life Sciences, Animal Welfare and Health Centre.
The session provided participants with valuable field-applicable knowledge.
