In the European Union (EU), human salmonellosis is the second most reported zoonosis (after human campylobacteriosis), and Salmonella is the most frequently reported causative agent isolated in foodborne outbreaks (EFSA, 2016, 2017, 2018). In pigs and pig meat, STM and its monophasic variants, are the most reported Salmonella serotypes (EFSA, 2016, 2017, 2018)
Salmoporc gives completely protection against S.Typhimurium and ist monophasic variants.
Moreover, internal data demonstrate cross protection also against S.dDerby.
